I hear there is a pretty sello available in Pamplona around the University—anyone know exactly where? Thanks.

It’s at the ‘porters lodge’ - the main reception. It is signposted. The university complex is on your left as you exit Pamplona and the reception is roughly at your ten o’clock; close to the main road which runs at 90 degrees to the Camino. I found that by walking straight into the complex and looking a bit ‘pilgrimy’ I was directed to it.I hear there is a pretty sello available in Pamplona around the University—anyone know exactly where? I actually prefer the one below with the tree and snake, the University one is a bit generic looking! As Henry says, it is well signposted right at the outer edge of Pamplona, follow the young people and dont be afraid to ask.
Same. I was hoping that was the Uni. But what does it mean?I actually prefer the one below with the tree and snake, the University one is a bit generic looking!
Maybe that you have to bite an apple to receive knowledge?Same. I was hoping that was the Uni. But what does it mean?
Genesis, Tree of knowledge, Garden of Eden, Adam, Eve, and the snake?Maybe that you have to bite an apple to receive knowledge?
You got it.Genesis, Tree of knowledge, Garden of Eden, Adam, Eve, and the snake?
It’s a shame the University of Pamplona don’t use the official University seal, as a sello, it’s quite nice looking!Lots of the sellos / stamps change over time. The olive tree / snake one you are admiring is from a rest area a bit further along between Alto del Perdon and Estella.
Comparing sellos / stamps is something some pilgrims do at the end of the day or when they find a good one ( sure I am not the only one )
the one I photographed was 5 years ago.. may be nicer now ? won't know until you get there and show usIt’s a shame the University of Pamplona don’t use the official University seal, as a sello, it’s quite nice looking!
