Albergue For Sale

Time of past OR future Camino
2019
For those who dream about owning an albergue on the Camino Frances, it seems there's at least one option available for you at the moment. Yesterday in Villafranca del Bierzo we passed by the Albergue de la Piedra which is Se Vende. Don't know any of the details but if owning an albergue is on your bucket list, here's your chance.

Loved our time in Villafranca del Bierzo! It is such a nice little town. Have been looking at places in Spain since we got back. Their website is still active

Thank you @Tincatinker !

My heart dropped to my socks upon reading the original post. They are such a lovely young couple and put so much sweat and artistic sensitivity into building 'la Piedra'. It was a high point of my Camino in Fall 2017.

I am very pleased that they have not been routed out by current conditions.

They did sell the other place, Hostal El Cruce, but not La Piedra.

For those who didn't see my post. they DID sell the other hostal, Hostal El Cruce, but not Piedra.
I only know because I booked my group with the new owner of El Cruce this season.

Thank you for this post. I know of one Albergue and one casa rural along the French way in stage 23- If you have an interest, send me direct message and I can follow up with owners and connect you to them.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
