Magnificent monastery in Samos. Originally dating from the 7th century AD there are sections in 3 architectural styles; Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque as it was rebuilt and expanded over the centuries.
Peter, unfortunately Samos was mid-walk that day for us. I did hear later from someone who did have the guided tour that it concentrated on the murals and that he didn't get to see much of the monastery itself. As there currently only 8 monks in residence I can imagine that most of the place is unused and probably not cleaned or maintained.

@Peter Fransiscus I AGREE IT WAS CENTERED ON THE MURALS i DID IT WITH SOME FRIENDS WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTING.
