Just got back

We just got back from Camino Frances and I think I can speak for these peregrinas, the whole experience was far beyond our expectations. We have planned this trip for 2 years and trained, broke in shoes, made reservations in Air B and B's from Barcelona to Santiago. We rented a 9 passenger van for the 6 of us and the men drove us and picked us up from point to point. We planned to walk bits and pieces of the Frances from St Jean Pied de Port to Sarria. From Sarria we walked the entire distance in 7 days, quite doable. We will never forget the pastoral scenery, the people we met, the time we spent together, the final experience with the Pilgrim Mass and the swinging Botafumeria. We are now emailing each other from Seattle, to Elma, Washington to London, how do we transition back into our normal live and keep our "caminoness?"
Our only suggestion to fellow pilgrims, is please bring a small plastic bag for your used toilet paper and take it out of the woods. We need to respect the land and people who live there.
I am green with envy for all of you who have the Camino ahead of you and would love to chat.
Buen Camino, pelegrinos!
