I didn't see one either, it must have been inside because you can't control photographs taken outside from public property.

This is the first time that I have been in the place. In the past I stopped in next door but it was so cold that morning that everyone stopping went into the Cowboy. Outdoor seating wasn't an option. Not the cleanest place on the Camino. In fact part of it's character was the lack of hygiene.

@Roger Deee - Sorry to hear that anyone felt unwelcome at any stop on the Camino. The next time you pass through El Ganso you have another rest stop option right next door.

I try to treat others the way that I would like to be treated and hope that others do the same to me. It doesn't always work out. I hope that the rest of your Camino experience was good.

Huge relief because I ALSO felt so unwelcome at this bar! The guy behind the bar just looked at the incoming pilgrims with such disdain. Almost everybody who walked in, turned right around. I was hungry so I went across, next door to a small looking barn turned into a café. Talk about 180 degrees!! The breakfast? delicious, fresh, and abundant. The treatment? lovely. After paying and about to get on the road again, the lady owner gave me a plastic bag and pointed to a huge basket of freshly picked cherries on a corner. She told me to filled it up and bring on the road. Totally made up for the ogre next door.

@Olivares - Thanks for sharing your story.

My immediate reaction was that the place was dirty so I didn't order food. But I did want to check it out because it is sort of an ICON for the Camino. Too bad it won't be earning a better reputation. I agree with you about the other place. I have had good experiences there on previous years and will be sure to stop in there next year.
