@Saint Mike II - There certainly had a different experience that I did. Maximum respect to those on bikes. Especially on those windy, rainy and muddy days.
Its the section of the Camino that follows the highway between Calzadilla and Ledigos. I cycled it in 2015; in 2017 my camino daughter and I took the alternate route - saw two other pilgrims,

Hola Dennis - no unfortunately I have some surgery due at the end of May and then off to Japan in Oct. May be on the Porto with my brother starting in Sept 2020.
Hope the surgery goes well and allows you to get back out there soon.
I will be thinking about you, especially when I start going down the hill into Molinaseca. That is the one leg of the Camino where I always wish that I was riding a bicycle.
Hola @Dennis D thanks for the wishes. Yes that descent from the Cruz de Ferro is a no win situation. The camino track is very difficult the road is a mixed bag, in places it dangerous.
