Is it just me? or only after doing a 40 km day (all uphill) would this look in anyway comfortable. I hope this isn't very common on any camino that i would be walking.
No rest assured this is not common on any Camino. Although it is good that these small places keep existing. To remind us what real Christianity can be like.
Not common, but after 40km, it looks like a proper feather bed ! We had to sleep on a gymnasium floor in Zubiri after a long day with no mattress, and no accommodations in the entire town. They made room for us. The Camino provides ! It was dry, and the showers were awesome !

We arrived late in El Acebo and were happy with a place in the kitchen.
It was that or either another 10 km walk and not being certain if we would hit a bed anyway.
