Thank you!Have a look at Gronze.com. Lists an albergue called Casa Sagres, and a casa rural. Both have good reviews on the site.
Thank you! There is the Hostal-Restaurante La Torre.
I just received the same email. Did you find another place tot stay?I just received an email from Rosa cancelling our reservation there for this coming August. (Personal reasons, she said. I hope everything is ok.)
Any recommendations for a place to stay nearby?
I haven’t found anything yet.I just received the same email. Did you find another place tot stay?
For the moment I can't find anything for August 17th.
Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I wonder if they are closed. I’m going to try to text them on WhatsApp.I've also stayed at Hostal La Torre. It was great. Good bar/restaurant next door.
Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I was hoping to use email or WhatsApp because my Spanish is pretty basic. Guess I’ll have to muddle through.I just stayed in La Torre a few weeks ago, and it’s fine, clean and basic. They do not use WhatsApp, so you have to call them on the phone. If you want a room with a bath, make sure to say so. Otherwise, they may assume that as a Pilgrim, you just want the cheapest option, and they have several rooms with shared.
When are you going? I'm going to call them tomorrow. If you want I can ask information for you.Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I was hoping to use email or WhatsApp because my Spanish is pretty basic. Guess I’ll have to muddle through.
The bar/restaurant was full of locals when we were there (Oct 2023), so doubtful they've closed down completely. Keep trying. Good luck!Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I wonder if they are closed. I’m going to try to text them on WhatsApp.
