Where to stay in Biarritz?

Unless I was arriving Biarritz very late I'd be inclined to make my way to Bayonne and the Hotel Cote Basque. Easy for the train to St J in the morning.
Gosh, I completely disagree! Love the little town of Biarritz and would actually plan an extra day or two there to swim and enjoy the village down by the cove! One of my favorite places in all of France, actually, and it makes me sad that so many folks just rush through it.

@Vacajoe i completely agree about Biarritz and if I was walking the Norte that’d be the way to go. But heading for St Jean? You gotta go to Bayonne. Unless you’re going to boost Bourricot’s bank balance 😉
