high in Santiago yesterday was 22.5 according to INM http://www.inm.es/web/infmet/tobsr/tiayer.html

Unusually the Basque coast is hotter than inland. Weatheronline had Bilbao at 41 yesterday, but according to INM it was a mere 37.8. Also hot in SW France - Dax registered 37 too

Stop at home at the moment would be my advice ;-)

The difference between the projected 31C ( http://www.inm.es/cgi-bin/locali.cgi?ig=15770 ) and the observed 22.5C ( http://www.inm.es/web/infmet/tobsr/tiayer.html ) for Santiago is not unanticipated.
