I wonder if anyone has done this route that links voie piemont pyreneen, from arudy, with somport via the valley of ossau and col des moines (2000+m) this year?

I am especially interested in the part from Laruns/Beost on. is it possible to walk from Laruns/Beost to refuge d'Ayous (a bit off route, but a possible overnight stop) in a day? is the height difference too much? what is the price of abbaye laique in Beost? is there a kitchen? how much costs refuge d'Ayous? are there anough drinking opportunities (fountains, streams) along the way? how bad is the traffic in summer? (the road is narrow and the valley steep.)

there is no longer a camping ground at lac de bious-artigues, although it is still shown on IGN maps. and there is no snack bar at the lake either. there are toilets, though.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
