I have been sent this pdf document with an updated list of albergues on the camino de Madrid. Posting it here.

I am not sure how accurate it is, but it seems to come from the Spanish Association of Camino de Santiago.
Thank you for this. Just about all albergues are closed. Is this temporary, due to covid and winter or are they likely to remain shut???

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks for this ! Hopefully things will return to nearer normality and this route looks ideal as there are very few peregrinos and reasonably priced hotels/hostals where separation will be good.

Do you have any updates on whether the albuergues municipal have opened yet?
Are the ones on the frances open?

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
On the face of it, not looking good when so many albergues are not operating, (although there is affordable private accommodation). A shame because it is a camino with a character of its own: mainly pure meseta and lonely at times but good people and haunting landscapes. Let's hope the closures are temporary. One thing I noticed - the ayuntamiento of Tres Cantos used to offer an acogida in the form of bunks in a room in the lower story of the council offices (we stayed there). This is not mentioned at all so maybe they stopped doing it for other reasons.

Us La Encomienda de RayyRosa is open since July with reduced places and prior reservation. Thanks.
