2013 Camino de Santiago
Currently forced from doing anything active at the moment, I put my mind to updating my memoirs of our cycling trip when we rode from Bayonne in France to Santiago back in 2013. It was, and still remains, the most momentous trip of our lives and changed us both beyond recognition. We were hoping to repeat the trip, only this time along the Norte. Sadly, this has, for obvious reasons, be postponed for now. As my husband will be 80 next year, and I will be 73, we might rethink and simply walk part of the way. If you are interested in reading about our experiences, where we rode to, the road conditions (which, I am sure have changed over the years) and how we managed, do visit my blog at: https://www.cyclingsofties.blog

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

I'll read your blog later,I'm still hoping to cycle down this year, might have to be a tent, pros and cons, usually more stops, when camping, and the Norte is supposed to be more road walking,

I enjoyed reading the blog about your bicycle camino. I see it was a very nice time and I hope you and your husband have many more adventures like this

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hope to do st Jean de port to finisterre in September 24 on bike. To buy a bike in Ireland and transport or buy in France. Any thoughts welcomed
Is there a dedicated guide for cyclists that suggests alternatives to the rocky/steep parts of the trail? I found a link to a 2018 one on another thread, but it is no longer available.
