what is the best way to get from Finisterre to Porto once we have finished walking. There are 4 in our group.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Perhaps a private car can be arranged. I don't know what the price would be.
Otherwise I would recommend a bus to Santiago, then the bus to Porto.

Has anyone used the app BlaBlaCar.com? If so is it reliable? Any idea of cost?

Never used it. Never would. Can’t imagine that there are many residents of Finistere planning to drive to Porto and thinking “I’ve got a few spare seats in my car. Why don’t I change my car insurance and notify my bank and mortgage company that I’m commencing commercial driving. And then all I have to do is sit back and wait till someone else wants to go from here to Porto”.

I used BlaBlaCar car to from Bilbao to Pamplona and Santiago to Porto. It was fantastic and SO cheap! One driver had me meet him at the local airport. I waited in arrivals thinking it must be a passenger but turns out my driver was a pilot lol. He can right off the plane, in his uniform, and we drove to Porto in his new bmw. Wild. He just likes company on his long commute home. The other driver was a counselor at a local prison. He also worked out of town and liked meeting people while driving home. BlaBlaCar is the way to go!

Thanks for the feedback. We may have to get the bus from Finisterre to Santiago. More research needed.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Ok, when you are back in Santiago, i think there is a thing called BlaBlaBus. (or something like that). The time of departure for me earlier this year was more convenient than the traditional bus transporters. I think the price was competitive. The bus showed up on time and arrived on time. If I recall correctly, I had to use the internet to get tickets.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I didn't read all the replies but....I took the bus back to Santiago from Muxia and then the plane from Santiago to Lisbon. It was easier than taking trains and cars and busses to Lisbon.
