Trains from Santiago to Madrid fully booked

Too many and too often!
An article in a local news website which notes that almost all trains from Santiago to Madrid are fully booked until Wednesday, with the few remaining seats at high prices. A situation likely to apply next weekend too. A reminder that advance booking at peak times is strongly recommended.

 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I struggled last week to get a bus or train to Ponferrada from SdC , certainly all morning services were booked out in advance. Not sure about the train but the bus to Ponferrada ultimately went to Madrid so most were going there.
