Sept Oct - Camino Francis
Like many - I can not believe this day is here. Travelling to and exploring SJPD today, going to the pilgrims office, getting over jet lag - are on the agenda with my official start tomorrow!
I wanted to say thankyou to the Forum hosts and participants for sharing ….it has been so helpful!
I hope to post a bit along the way!
Gracias everyone! Jen from Canada

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I remember the day well, with much anticipation of the journey ahead. Eat well tonight, not too much alcohol in order that you are not dehydrated tomorrow. Start slow then slow up and enjoy the day, it is not a race.

Goon on you pilgrim Jensjaunt, Buen Camino. Our paths may cross. I start from Longrono on the 14-15 Sep.
Enjoy the adventure and let us know how you go. Day one over the Pyrenees is tops!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Good luck Jen. i did the CF 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. That first day you are going to do tomorrow was a personal highlight for me and hope the weather is kind so you can see the awesome views

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Looking at the name, in small, I thought you were Jen's aunt... much better that it is your own jaunt. Buen camino. Yes, do post from time to time...

It's nearly 1 year since I left Vancouver to start my Camino. Glad to hear it's a bit cooler between SJPdP and Pamplona this year. Wishing you well Jen, and hoping you find what you're needing. Buen Camino!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
We are all behind you, willing you on. Have a great day! And then, keep going.

Enjoy, let us know how your first day went. I'll be in your shoes beginning of next month. Getting nervous and also excited. Buen Camino

Buen Camino, and don't feel you have to rush. Where are you from in Canada? I'm a Canuck at heart, and lived in Toronto and Kingston for many years.
