The Camino Family Feeling

Time of past OR future Camino
Francis, Norte, VDLP, Ingles
My wife and I, (semi-retired), have walked several Caminos since 2016. (Frances, Finnesterre, Norte, Via de la Plata, Englis, Rota Vincentina and Portuguese).
Our first Camino was on the Frances and one of the things that we really enjoyed was the camaraderie amongst the Pilgrims and the many great friends that we met along the Way.
Our next favourite Camino was the VDLP, which we also found to have a great Camino spirit amongst the Pilgrims.
While we have enjoyed each of our Camino routes, we have not found the same connection amongst the Pilgrims on all the routes. (ie either there were very few walkers on the trail, or, many people were were walking in large organized tour groups and kept to themselves.
Each to their own I always say, however, my question to the Forum would be to ask what treks other Pilgrims have taken where they experienced positive interaction amongst the trekkers.
We are starting to plan where we want to go, (preferably Spain or Portugal), for 2020.
Any input from other Pilgrims would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you - Troyvan

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The Primitivo might be one, enough pilgrims but in my experience not too many.

Although I enjoy sharing a meal at night, I've never looked for or sought out what you refer to as a "Camino family". I like to walk long stages and am a fast walker so there are few that do the same stages as myself.

The other Caminos I have done are quiet with few pilgrims so they might not be what you are looking for.

Ultreia!
