I just want to say a very grateful THANK YOU to everyone on this forum. You have helped me so much with your encouragement, in planning, and preparation, with inspiration and much know how. Through my self doubt, problems with my feet, and an absolutely insane back and forth for getting the right pack and shoes- you are there.
I am now 3 weeks out. I fly to Madrid- one night there then train to Sarria-one more night, then a bus (or maybe a cab) back to start in Tricastela on the Samos route.
And then the pictures! Oh my, I cannot wait to be IN them!
And @Dani7 , your daily journalling has helped me more than you know- at age 62-it's so good to hear from a fellow 60's gal doing this for the first time.
The loving support of this Camino family has helped me realize that I CAN do this -and realize this dream.
So to all of you, in all your walks in life, MUY Buen Camino ! <3
