camino del norte 2014
Hello! My husband and I walked the Camino del Norte in 2014 and stayed at albergues along the route without advance booking. This summer, we are going to walk the senda litoral, but we have chosen to book hotels/abergues along in advance due to covid concerns. During our first camino, we would get stamps at each albergue. Where does one get a stamp when not staying at a municipal albergue?
Thank you in advance!
Diana

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
In the hotels you use and churches would be my first choice. As we did in May this year walking the Litoral. Cafés and restaurants may also have stamps, but not as numerous as other main routes.

On my last 100km camino from Sarria to Santiago I decided that I would try and obtain a sello from every bar that I passed. So far as I am aware so far I have made it to Melide ;)

You can pick up stamps in all sorts of surprising places: Town-halls, Police Stations, Petrol Stations and Supermercados. I have one, hand written, from Tresviso in the Picos de Europa. It reads Alvarez, fabricante de queso, Tresviso. Vi a este peregrino.

We did our first Camino in April/May from Tui including the Variante Espiritual and soon realised that we could get them from all sorts of places including the Guardia Civil advising pilgrims on the way to Pontevedra.

Did you find the Litoral route from Esposende well marked? I'm trying to avoid heading inland on the Coastal, preferring to remain by the sea.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
