I’m coming up empty on whether a Sello can be obtained at the Leon Cathedral - are they available? Much appreciated.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

If I recall correctly there is a museum attached to the cathedral. I was able to get my passport stamp from them. I don't recall trying the cathedral itself. Cheers

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
As I recall it works like this: If you go in through the main entrance you pay for cathedral admission and get given audio etc if that's what you want. After wandering around for a bit, the signage pretty much shepherds you out through the cathedral shop where you can ask for the sello.
Alternatively you can go straight to the cathedral shop on the left side of the main entrance and request the sello without going through the cathedral. I think you can also walk around the cloisters there for free, where they've parked a lot of sculpture...

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Here is a thought, somewhat related. I dont know if "they" still do it, but right at the entry to the Cathedral there was a bunch of "souvenir" books available when I was there in June of last year. Not the little cheapy ones - more like something you'd by in the Museum store. Not overly large either (although I would still probably mail it out home instead of walking with it to SdC and possibly beyond).....
Anyways, if that is still true - grab one (heck do so anyway!) and when getting your Credential stamped with Sello - ask if they will stamp the book (the inside black left cover page for example). Honestly I see no reason for refusing to to so and hopefully they wont
IMHO, that would make a GREAT gift for either a clergy or an architect friend or acquaintance you may have.
I did grab a book with intention to present that to my Pastors (husband & wife team, and she was instrumental in me "finding" the Camino and obviously embarking on it) but I wish that I had the Sello in it for them

Is there a list of albergues that also have private rooms on the Camino Frances? Gracias.
Can anyone give me (newbie!) some guidance on planning my stages after Roncesvalles? I currently have lodging booked Zubiri, Pamplona and then Puente la Reine, and on from there. I would prefer...
Big stupid question: what if, in the middle of a stage, I realize I can't really walk anymore? For whatever reason, fatigue, pain, etc. How others have treated this? Are there buses usually...
