return from Conques

I hope to be walking from Le Puy to Conques later this year. Please can anyone advise on possible ways to get from Conques back to the UK? Which train line is nearest, so I could get either to a local airport or by train back to Paris.
Many thanks.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hi, Daisy,
Years ago, I once stopped walking in Conques, and we found that we had to take a bus to Rodez. From there we got a train to Toulouse and from there you can get pretty much anywhere.

Years ago (maybe it's different now) the way out of Conques on public transportation was on the bus that took the children into Rodez for school.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Ahh, falcon, that website makes me yearn to return to the GR65. The night visit to the upper gallery of the cathedral while the organ is playing is a sublime experience.

I also just thought that we must have talked about this topic on bus out of conques before, so a quick search brought up these threads, all of which confirm there is one early morning bus out of Conques to Rodez. But some say the bus is only M-F, so you may have to be careful about planning:

Thank you both - really useful.
Would you consider it easier to continue to Figeac instead?
I can't book trains yet, but have to decide whether to book early and get a cheap flight.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Ryanair fly from Rodez to Stansted, several times a week. We came back that way several years ago. We got an early morning "school?" bus from Conques to Rodez. Dont think this bus runs at weekends. Taxi would probably cost about €50
