I wanted to have a Spanish number and planed to buy a Sim card in Bilbao where we are spending 2 nights before I begin My Camino on Oct 2 in Llanes.

I saw a Tech & Fly store in the Madrid airport. They had Orange, Vodafone and another plan. I had planned to go with Vodafone and spent 40 euro for a month with 100 gb. It was very easy and quick. Phone is working well. My husband is using Airalo esim which we have both used in the past. It works well, but I wanted to be able to make local calls

I bought a 45 euro SIM card also at terminal 4 on my May-June Camino. Lady was very nice and yes it was quick. I also had to phone home to Canada a couple times.

In a quandry about whether to wear my hiking sandals or leather hiking boots on the Camino.
Hi all, for anyone interested the macabi skirts are on sale...I have worn these on 3 camino, the Via Francigena, Camino Portugues from Lisbon, and on the Way of St. Francis (in cold and heat 41c)...
