While walking around Lisbon today I saw these fantastic 'pilgrim notebooks' in a shop window and had to buy them!

The quote on the front reads: “iniciar um novo caminho assusta mas depois de cada passo percebemos o quanto era perigoso permanecer parado”

In my translation: “starting a new journey is scary but after every step we realise how dangerous it would have been to stay still”

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
