Time of past OR future Camino
My husband and I will be walking from Sarria late sept 2016 for our 30th anniversary
If I order my passport from here how long will it take to get it to the USA?

Prepare for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island, Oct 27 to Nov 2
I'm assuming that you are talking about your credencial (pilgrim passport)?

I don't know what the current shipping time is from @ivar's Camino store, but you can order one from American Pilgrims and you should have it in a week.

Or you can usually pick one up at your starting point
I ordered our last one from here in 2019.
The American one is different, we would like the same one to use this time.
Also would like to have it in hand before starting.
There is a guide book I was going to order at the same time. We are planning to leave in September and wanted to know if I would get it in time to schedule places to stay from the book?

Gronze.com likely has the same listing of places to stay that the guidebook does so you don't have to wait to begin looking at options.

Anyone had any experience with getting collapsible (fold up) poles through airport security checkpoints in carryon baggage. In particular when exiting Australia and Spain?
I stopped in the pilgrim store Armería Castro.Deportes y Tienda del peregrino today, and they carry bags of wool to use on your feet. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zb8fM4AK2qyCuGYt6?g_st=ac
