New Albergue in Almonacid

Álvaro Lazaga is walking the Sureste, which coincides with the Levante in many spots. Yesterday, he slept in Almonacid and I posted on the Levante planning thread that it looked like the albergue had gotten an upgrade.

Today’s video posts more shots of the albergue. There is no doubt that this is a different place than the one forum members slept in years ago. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, all sparkling clean. It looks like pilgrims should now plan to sleep in Almonacid. There is also a restaurant in the pool area (near the albergue), which was reported to be a fine place to eat.
