Slept in until 10 then got up to clear sunny skies.
I walked to the town square Farmers Market and sampled everything in sight.
I finally bought some freshly made vegetable spring rolls and a hot cup of coffee. (Not exactly a real French breakfast).
I wandered the town for a bit, took photos then had to do my laundry. (Oh! The fresh scent of clean clothes!).
I have over 350 miles behind me thus far with many more to go, but thus far this has been quite an adventure.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Bob, we also enjoyed a delightful rest day in Langres yesterday and walked on this morning to Chalindrey (because of difficulty finding accommodation on the actual VF route). Langres is a great town; lots of activity on the streets and a real atmosphere within those rampart walls. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

I am currently in Champlitte. Lots of accommodation available here. I'll keep an eye out for you

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Nice photos of Langres. My rest day there coincided with a major festival for students, so I spent the second night in Dijon (took a late afternoon train to Dijon) and then took the train back the next morning and hiked to La Vallee Verte in Grandchamp. Missed Champlitte, as I was aiming for Dampierre-sur-Salon the next day. Liking the updates as it brings back such good memories. Merci beaucoup!

We (my husband and I) are in Peronne right now on the Via Francigena. After the camino frances and camino portugues we wanted to try something different. Last year we walked from Canterbury to...
Anyone walked south from Rome? This looks so interesting and in the south I know that it is less costly.
