If you start from your home in Prague, are you halfway there already? And you're going to take a plane or ship from say, southern Turkey to say, Lebanon to avoid the Syrian conflict? (Not looking forward to Ivar's banner ad to raise funds for your ransom.)
 
Lol, actually it would be less than 4,000 km for me and ship (via Cyprus?) might be certainly an option, but I doubt that my long-suffering husband would agree to let me go so soon for another long walk. And :cool: for the idea of a "forum ransom raising banner ad" (try saying that one 5 times in a row!). SY
 
Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
Ferry from Alanya or in winter (after 30th October) from Tasucu. (Southern Turkey).
Arrive in Northern Cyprus, Kyrenia.
Then walk through Cyprus and only option -at the time - was a flight from Larnaca to Tel-Aviv. ;)
