Hi, I'm Vana from WA. USA My hope is to be on the trail in May 2006.
I am very excited and nervous as well, but reading these messages gives me courage! I have read two books, one very practical and the secong not so much. The first one is by Bethan Davies & Ben Cole, "Walking The Camino de Santiago" and the second by Shirley McClain, "The Camino" I have been walking to prepare but am wondering what others are doing to prepare! I have walked 8 miles a day and hope to add 4 miles more before I head out. Any suggestions?

Buen Camino and welcome to Santiago!

WSU? Oh boy, I was at the great Notre Dame/WSU overtime football game in 2003 in South Bend, IN. [That's American football, by the way, the sport that stops every 20 seconds.)

One of the best games I've ever seen live (I probably feel that way because we won). I'll be supporting my alma mater (ND) by wearing an ND t-shirt on the Camino this summer.
