My name is John Kennedy. I live on the south shore of Long Island in New York, USA. I am a 33 year old school teacher (history) and musician. I have done the Camino Frances, three times (1999, 2001 and 2002). I love everything about the Camino de Santiago. It is a wonderful way to get away from it all and get in touch with my physical, mental and spiritual sides. If the construction on my house gets finished soon and it does not completely tap out all of my money, I plan on doing it again this summer. When I retire (in 27 years, God willing!), I would like to open up a refugio along the Camino with my wife. My refugio will be very popular, because it will have screens on the windows! :D

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Today (June 19 2005) I bought my plane tickets for Spain to do the Camino! I am very excited. I thought for sure that I was not going to be able to go, since the construction is still in progress and is tapping my budget, but alas at the last minute, I found incredibly cheap round trip airfare (Air Comet $546) and my wife and family think I should just do it (I am a very lucky man)!!! I plan on busking my way across the Camino with my Martin Back Pack guitar. Look for me this summer playing and singing songs in the plazas at night from 8 until 10pm through out the month July along the Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
