Hi think tank and experienced trekkers
I am looking into walking the blue trail in Hungary, some 1138 km or so. Looking for information on this trail is not like the abundant information for all things Camino, so I was wondering even though off topic if anyone has any experience walking this route. I have managed to break the stages down to walkable distances for me, at this point looks like about 80 days, but finding information is rather challenging, and wild camping although legal in Hungary, is not an option for me because of the additional weight and well of course the weather.
Many thanks for anything anyone can tell me or if you can point me in great directions.

Thanks I have seen those sites, and am currently using this website: www.termeszetjaro.hu and select blue trails and then northern (OKT). Not having much luck with the accommodation side of things, it is very limited on the usual booking sites, so I think that many must be wild camping. Alas I think this will be beyond my capabilities, but it sure looks amazing.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hi Ellann. Please keep me posted on this. I am interested. I see they show accomodations all along the route but my concern would be not being able to communicate to make reservations.

Ellann, the website you are currently using has a link to the accomodations. When you click on it a map appears indicating with blue flags all the accomodations along the trail. When you click on each flag the name, phone and email address appears. It look like there are plenty options.
