Planning my next camino and thinking of adding the extra 900km to saint jean. I was wondering how well signed the route is from Vezelay.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
It is reasonably well-marked, but take a guidebook. You need phone numbers to locate accommodations.

Well mark as a GR. Loads on online sources google "grande randonnee" and there are wonderful websites on the chimin st jacques a Compostelle. There are few municipal refuges. Bon chemin!

Be aware that there are at least two waymarked routes. One is the GR and another is the historic route. I walked the historic route in 2010 and at that time the marking was good except for one section of about three days.

I am on the Vezelay now. I have a very good guidebook ( produced by the Dutch association of Saint James in English) but actually the way is very well signposted (so far). The MiamMianDoDo however is also really useful (also there is one for the Le Puy route).
