Hola! I missed a section from ponferreda to Villafranca because I was sick with food poisoning unfortunately I had pre booked rooms to stay in so took a bus and stayed the night Now I need to get back and make up that section I am not finding any practical ways (the bus is taking 3-5 hours and this doesn’t seem right Any pilgrim transports or shuttles going back and forth along the Camino or May other suggestions? Thank you so much!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Three hours on a bus is not quite so bad? Sarria via Lugo to Ponferrada.
Or the train via Monforte de Lemos.
You can always take a taxi for more or less 150 €.

Enjoy the scenery!

Train Sarria to Ourense, then train to Ponferrada.

After a long day of walking 3.5+ hrs on a train with multiple connections is not ideal but thanks

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

This is not an airport outside a big city.

But you do have options.

If you can't stand a few hours on the train after a morning's walk, you'll have to spring for a taxi. There is always Blablacar.

Ourense is almost 100km south of Sarria and then back up to ponferreda? I think the 3-6hr train ride beats this thanks tho
It's an easy run I went via Ourense not bad journey.

Have you used blah blah car before? I’m walking 45km a day so sitting for hours can increase soreness but ya I hear ya thanks

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Yeah, I can imagine.
No not personally, but others here have, and maybe they can chime in. It seems quite reliable. Do you speak Spanish?

Si hablo espanol. Ya no worries I can absolutely figure out the buses and trains just figured there must be a slightly easier set up but if not it’s fine thanks

Yeah. BBC might be the best option.
Anything else is gorgeous but circuitious. (From Ourense to Monforte to Ponferrada is really beautiful, up the Miño and Sil River valleys.)

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
