Hi Folks - my first post on the forum…

I'll be starting my big “Adventure Before Dementia” Camino in September, cycling the VDLP from Sevilla. I'm hoping to put a few words on to the forum and maybe some photos too, but I can’t seem to find how to add photos to my posts. The search function doesn’t give me anything useful. I hope you more experiences posters can. Please.

Oh, wait a minute, I’ve just spotted the 'attach files' button just below this text box. Is that it?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Yes, use the "attach files" button. When it has been uploaded you will see "Insert" on the picture. It's best to choose "Thumbnail" so that the pictures don't take up a lot of bandwidth. Members can click on the picture to enlarge it.

Alternatively, you can add pictures using the little picture icon in the toolbar at the top of the post (or comment) editing area. As I see it you have in that toolbar, left to right, B for bold, I for italics, three vertical dots for more formatting options, chain links icon for adding a hyperlink, picture icon for adding a photo, three vertical dots for even more options.

If you click on the picture icon you will get a pop up box that you can drag and drop your photo to, or you can click on the box to select the photo to insert. The photo will then be uploaded and inserted wherever your cursor is. At this point you can just leave it delete it and replace it with a thumbnail.

You’re telling me! And I dread it happening to me - and there's a good chance that it will - but humour is my way of coping with the bad stuff.
May it not happen!
And in the meantime, buen camino, now. ♥️
The future is for later.
