We’re considering the Espiritual variant and have four days to walk that part. How did you break out the stages and where did you stop/stay? I’m not interested in a 35km stage. Thank you for any suggestions for this part.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

We did Pontevedra to Caroi (hotel out of route, took a taxi to leave and go back to Caroi), then Caroi to Vilanova de Arousa. Vilanova de Arousa by boat to Padrón. This was a route planned by an agency. If I was to do this again, by myself, I would stay in Combarro (the cutest Galician fishing village you can imagine) after Pontevedra. The way from Combarro to Caroi felt endless, especially after a lovely lunch by the sea on a sunny day.

I stayed at the Monasterio de Poio, then the Monasterio da Armenteira, and in Vilanova de Arousa I stay at Hope House (Private guest house). Took the boat to Padron and walked to Santiago. Try get the first boat out from Vilanova de Arousa to Padron if you not walking to Padron.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
