According to a post on a Spanish forum, the first refuge on the Cádiz-Seville route is due to open tomorrow in Alcalá de Guadaíra. It's donativo, and from what I understand, is 1.5 km off the highway, but very close to town/downtown.
the Asociación Gaditana http://www.asociaciongaditanajacobea.org/ have been busy waymarking the route over the past few months. See their revista "Pro iter agentibus" on their website for some photos (files are quite large and seem to take quite a while to download)JohnnieWalker said:That's helpful information. I suspect this route is growing in popularity. A few weeks ago I was walking along the riverbank in Seville and the route into the city from there is route is now very clearly marked with arrows,
