„The first public hostel in the city of Ferrol will raise the centers of the autonomous network to 76, seven of them on the Camino Inglés.

And the Galician Government is working to turn this xacobean route into a benchmark for family and 'pet friendly' tourism.

The president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, stressed that the new public shelter for pilgrims in Ferrol will consolidate and promote the English Way among the pilgrims heading to Compostela.

The albergue will start operating in July and is located in the old inn of the Casa del Mar. Rueda highlighted that it will be the albergue with the largest capacity in the entire English Way - having 60 places - and will have facilities that guarantee accessibility and energy efficiency. With the opening of this hostel, the Galician public network will have 76 reception centers for pilgrims, of which seven are on the Camino Inglés.“

Interesting news and it would be more valuable to provide the address of the new hostel so that it can be placed on a map and pilgrims can use it.
