    - 950 km by walking on the Capital cities Way through Rennes and Nantes.

Mont St Michel to St Jean Pied de port.

Hello Ian. I walked the Via Turonensis last year, so if you want any practical up-to-date advice send me a PM. I began in Dieppe, so my route will coincide with yours from Saintes, and I am particularly aware of the difficulties of parts of the route after Charente Maritime and the exit from Bordeaux that are difficult to navigate.

If you want some priceless advice, I recommend walking with a replica medieval pilgrim's bourdon (pilgrim staff): it is recognised by many people on this route. In my experience you will be offered accommodation and all sorts of help simply on the strength of that symbol. Bon chemin!

hello, I'm new here.

We're preparing keenly for our first camino with my friend this summer.
We have only 3 weeks, but we don't want to rush. The planning is very difficult for us, because we can't find the distances between the villages.

We'd like to know where should we start our camino, if we have only 3 weeks? From Burgos?
How many kilometres can we do per day, if we don't want to rush?

Thanks in advance,
