Correos has published a short guide on how to pack your bike using their Paq Bicicleta service. The Correos in SdC just down from the Cathedral will disassemble it and pack it for you. (If you don't have the tools)

You might also want to see the price list for sending bikes using the service which are very reasonable (Page 03 17)

Edit: Correction. Thanks @ivar

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Prices above seem to be shipping within Spain… (as far as I can see)

for those of us looking to ship ebikes around including the (bothersome) power packs within (most) of Europe and Spanish Isles:

Can't comment on their service as I have yet to use it, but it is planned for October. (watch this space)

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Bike sent on Wednesday from my local Correos (Conil, Cadiz) to Bilbao and it was pretty straightforward; I took the necessary tools (doubt the local Correos would have tools), packing / foam and parcel tape. First I had to pay €13 for the box so I thought this would be on top of the €48 but no, it's included in the total price. I also printed a page with my address, TIE / passport & contact details and the address of the Correos in Bilbao which was appreciated. So collecting the bike next Tuesday, I hope.

Hope to do st Jean de port to finisterre in September 24 on bike. To buy a bike in Ireland and transport or buy in France. Any thoughts welcomed
Is there a dedicated guide for cyclists that suggests alternatives to the rocky/steep parts of the trail? I found a link to a 2018 one on another thread, but it is no longer available.
