Hello,

What time does the office close in Santiago today? The website lists different times in different places.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
@Bradypus do you know the regular opening times in September? (Not sure if arriving around 1600 the day before setting off is a bit tight in case of delays if the pilgrim office closes earlier?)
I want to organise a bag sent to santiago for collection, so leaning towards arriving a day earlier to enjoy a full day in SPJDP before hand.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

September is still a very busy time and the office is unlikely to close much earlier than 7pm then. Even in winter they are usually open until 6pm. All the reports I have read recently say that the new computerised system for registering and issuing Compostelas makes the process very fast - waiting times measured in minutes rather than hours. I would be very surprised to learn that you would have any problems if you arrive by 4pm. Especially if you have already registered on the pilgrim office website.

Thanks very much @Bradypus

When I worked at the Pilgrims Office in Santiago de Compostela June 2023, the office opens for service at 0900 (9AM) and closes at 1900 (7PM). I believe that is the usual schedule year round except for designated religious holidays like Christmas, Easter, etc.
