Camino Ingles finally

Time of past OR future Camino
Coastal Portuguese via VE ´22 Camino Fisterra ´22
Hi,
finally plans for Camino Ingles become real, some accomodations, booked already, checking flights, etc..., starting 02june :)
We are taking it slow, 8 days on the road, below are our stages the classic ones i guess.
My wife had a total knee replacement and first time we return to a Camino, trying to avoid long distances.
have a bit of doubt for stage 6 and 7 and some advise/thoughts would be welcome, is the distance more or less correct?

1) Ferrol / Neda 16km
2) Neda / Pontedeume 13km
3) Pontedeume / Mino 10km
4) Mino / Betanzos 11km
5) Betanzos / Carral (around Beche ?) 16km
we chose Costa da Egoa to stay and understood owners pick you up and put you back on route
6) Beche / Ordes 14km??
7) Ordes / Sigueiro 16km??
8) Sigueiro / Santiago 16,5km

thanks!
Marc & Chris

Marc and Chris, not having done your actual stages I just did a quick check on mappy.cz for you and your distances aren't too far off. It would appear that five and six slightly out of balance (a couple of k's more on the first day and hence less the second) but of course that will totally depend on where you actually stop. You talk about stopping at Beche, when I went past in April last year there was a brand new facility there, complete with accommodation and restaurant/ cafe. It might be worth looking into. (Ecocamp Beche Abegondo).

The invaluable @Elle Bieling posted this thread last year, with eight stages for the Inglés : you might find it useful !

Buen Camino!

I can recommend Ecocamps in Beche and the restaurant there.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Incidentally an acquaintance of mine did a nine day Inglès:

1) Ferrol - Neda 15km
2/ Neda - Pontedeume 13km
3/ Pontedeume - Miño 9km
4/ Miño - Betanzos 20km
5/ Betanzos - Presedo 13.6km
6/Presedo - Meson do Vento 16km
7/ Meson do Vento - Poulo 13km
8/ Poulo - Sigüeiro 12km
9) Sigüeiro - Santiago 16.5

Not 100% sure on the distances but they're pretty close. It's obviously going to vary depending on where you stay! For example he chose Meson do Vento rather than Bruma because he wanted the hotel ( which I'm told is fairly good).

I just checked and they have a two night minimum stay. Did you take a rest day there, or did they adjust the requirement because you were a pilgrim?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I tried to book online and got a one night price but find it bit too expensive and big for just a night´s sleep.
Booked off road at Costa da Egoa of which i´ve read a lot of good comments
Maybe it’s time of year….I was checking for the end of July. And yes, it looked a bit expensive for me as well, I will def check out Costa da Egoa.
