I would prefer not to buy poles in Australia and will be starting my camino in Seville. Can anyone tell me where I can definitely find hiking poles and are Pacer Poles available in Spain. Or should I get them to post them to me in Spain?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Try "El Corte Inglés". In the sportsdepartment you can always buy walking poles.
The selection can be seen online.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
Hi, Donna,
If you're taking the train into Sevilla, this store is near the Santa Justa train station, which is the new station where the AVE arrives. http://www.deportemania.org/ It looks like a serious running/hiking store, so I'm pretty confident they'll have poles. Calle Samaniego 10.

This blog lists Deportemania and two others. http://gatosconcasco.desnivel.com/blogs/2012/12/27/tiendas-de-montana-en-sevilla-capital/

Annie's suggestion of Decathlon is a good one, but in my experience their locations are way out of town in the industrial area and hard to get to. Though some caminos pass close by because a lot of caminos leave big cities by passing through industrial areas. Not sure about the situation in Sevilla. Buen camino, Laurie

Hi all! I know shoes are discussed quite a bit here but I have a last minute question as I head out on the Camino Frances next Sunday. I have a weaker ankle so I purchase the Oboz Sapphire Mid...
Anyone had any experience with getting collapsible (fold up) poles through airport security checkpoints in carryon baggage. In particular when exiting Australia and Spain?
I stopped in the pilgrim store Armería Castro.Deportes y Tienda del peregrino today, and they carry bags of wool to use on your feet. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zb8fM4AK2qyCuGYt6?g_st=ac
