Hi,

We plan to finish our Camino by bussing to Finisterre or Muxia (we plan to go to both) and overnighting and then back to Santiago. There is no time to walk after being gone several weeks. Just wondering...are there more bus times/availability from Finisterre or Muxia? I thought as soon as we arrive we'd buy an advance ticket for departure.

Also, do most people go to Muxia first and then bus out of Finisterre or reverse and are there any advantages for either?

We were going to spend one night in each town.

Finally, I cannot find Finisterre on Google maps. I only see Fisterra. Are they one and the same? Thank you!

Yes, Fisterra is the local (Galician) name.

There are more daily buses from Fisterra than Muxía.

You can find schedules for both on the Monbus site

I sleep so much better when there's a privacy curtain on the bunk bed. Can anyone recommend an albergue with privacy curtains based on recent experience in Finisterra, please?
Hello. Can anyone advise on how far in advance Monbus tickets can be booked online?
I want to be in Santiago for 31 December 2026 to see the opening of the Pilgrim door for the start of the 2027 Holy Year. I was hoping to walk to (or from) Mucia but n the 5 days prior. Has anyone...
