There are many threads on here regarding baggage forwarding. From what I see most of them are old and not regarding Le Puy.

I will leave Le Puy on August 3, and I need to send a small bag ahead of me, perhaps two or three stops ahead. Can any of you pros with experience and knowledge fill an old man in on how I can do that please?

Welcome to the forum!

I have added a tag to this thread, under the title - "luggage transport/storage". The forum Search feature can be frustrating/difficult to use, but here are some threads with that same tag, within the Le Puy forum. They might provide some useful information for you. Other members will probably come along soon, too.

There are quite a few companies that offer that service including La Malle Postale who cover Le Puy en Velay to Lectoure and Transport Claudine who cover Conques to SJPP.

Just google those names and you will should find all the information you need

la Malle Postale website is particularly easy to follow. You could start by sending them an email outlining exactly what you want 😎

Sorry I have been too tired to post anything. Here is a very brief summary and a few pics. Le Puy to Figeac - 250 km approx - 14 days - average 17.8 km per day (top speed for me 😂) Beautiful...
