Just wanted to give people the heads up that the municipal albergue in Tres Cantos was closed when we arrived today on 26/09/2019. We were advised by the woman working at the desk at the town hall that it has now been closed for two months. I do not know if the closure is temporary or permanent.

Glad you found somewhere. Do you know Albertgirls name. She is here in VP Jardin and of course they wouldn't give me her contact as I didn't know her name.I tried to email you but my Orange Sim won't let me. I'll be ok tomorrow so no need to worry. Hope to see you all somewhere on the path. Wish it was cooler though.

50 euros for a double room (including breakfast).

Although our albergue is of donative; while the City Council of Tres Cantos is closed, we offer pilgrims the option of sleeping two nights. To do this when arriving at Tres Cantos you can travel on a bus to Manzanares el Real and sleep here, and the next day take the bus again to Tres Cantos and walk to Manzanares to go back to sleep in La Encomienda. https://www.rayyrosa.com/casa-de-acogida-la-encomienda-de-rayyrosa
