Hi all!

I'm doing the Portuguese Coastal Camino at the end of August to beginning of September. I'm currently trying to compile an equipment list.
Is there anything you'd recommend taking?
I have a pair of shorts that have two layers to them - will this be too warm to wear?
Thanks!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
@jolshoffers , only you can answer that question but the point from @davejsy is absolutely spot on. None of us can predict the weather however it is normally pretty darn warm during that period.

You must have seen this mantra repeated on the forum many times by now: layers.

Make sure you've got something to cover the expected spectrum, starting with something very lightweight. Lightweight shorts, thin Merino or quality synthetic t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, hat, and rain gear as the very minimum.

There are many, many packing lists here on the forum or on YouTube that matter.
Enjoy researching!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi all! I know shoes are discussed quite a bit here but I have a last minute question as I head out on the Camino Frances next Sunday. I have a weaker ankle so I purchase the Oboz Sapphire Mid...
I stopped in the pilgrim store Armería Castro.Deportes y Tienda del peregrino today, and they carry bags of wool to use on your feet. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zb8fM4AK2qyCuGYt6?g_st=ac
Anyone had any experience with getting collapsible (fold up) poles through airport security checkpoints in carryon baggage. In particular when exiting Australia and Spain?
