Hi Guys
I've now booked my flight to Asturias airport for my Primitivo camino in September. I've never been to this airport before but I understand there is a direct bus from Asturias airport to Oviedo.

Any pointers to finding and using the bus would be most welcome

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi David it's really easy to find - walk out the door, look to your right and you will see the bus stop 50/100 meters or so away. You can pre-buy your ticket online, but just in case of flight delays ( which I experienced!) personally I just paid with my debit card on the bus when it arrived. I think €9?.

Pre book Bodenaya Albergue Alex. Buen Camino
Alex left Bodenaya some 7 years ago to run Izarra on the Norte, and 'retired' from there 2 years ago. David and Celia, 2 more legendary hospis, took over from Alex, but they moved on last year. A US/Spanish couple have taken over to continue the Bodenaya tradition. Also, Bodenaya never used to reserve beds, but it's worth calling them the day before.

Bodenaya: For anyone interested, Alison and Alberto are wonderful hosts. Last year it was possible to book, Alison is available on bixbemus@gmail.com. They are currently closed - reopening on or about the 22nd of March ( Yet to be confirmed).

Last year they only opened six days a week, closed Saturdays. It would pay to check if they're going to do that this year.
Certainly no need to book this far out, perhaps when you are absolutely certain of your plans. Getting there either means making longer or shorter stages - they're about 6 kilometres after Salas ( so around 31 kilometers from Grado). That climb out of Salas is a killer at the end of your second day!
Remember they are only a small Donativo - but one with great food and a wonderful heart.
A highlight of my Primitivo.
