Unfortunately, the commentary says that you need two stamps a day, without qualification, to obtain the compostela. He should have qualified his statement to the effect that two stamps a day are only needed for the final 100 km.

I see Casa Brabadello sello on page 2 being "date 2" (looks like strt date is 29-09 and CB date is 30-09" so I would take a very good guess that the gent DID start at Sarria

Actually the very first stamp is the Hotel Alphonso IX, which is in Sarria.

My apologies, Quahaug and CWBuff. You are obviously more observant than I was. I don't know how I missed the Hotel Alfonso IX, Sarria. I have edited my first post.
