My third Camino was originally supposed to be Camino Norte. Last minute issues threw that idea completely on its head and just 24h before my flight left, I decided to try Camino Frances once again. The first time on the Frances was just 5 years earlier. I did eventually get to do the Norte a year later :)

I was wondering if it feels different the second time on the trail. I had an inner goal to stay in completely new villages this time. The idea was that if my morning and evening are already different than last time, then the way I experience the road in Spain should be somewhat different too.

Here is my adventure from 2022 fighting against a 2-week heatwave (+36 degrees Celsius) by doing a lot of morning hiking:
