This is not the first time the subject is brought up. Whether we all like it or not - there is a so-called geay area and there is no "proper" solution. I snore and yes the first thing I've done is told folks (esp. those in bunks close to mine)...

Not in my experience. I've found that in the Albergues, frequently those who complain most about snoring are snorers themselves.
