Is it a flat fee like Roger's "Roam like home"? If so, it's $15 per day every time your phone connects to the infrasctructure. Far better to get a SIM or E-SIM.... anywhere from 15-40 euros for a month, depending on how many GB you want to buy.

Maybe albergues could (where rooms are available) have snoring rooms and non-snoring rooms?

There are many 'What a lovely wonderful day that was' on the Camino but there are also days that are more difficult, 'Thank Goodness that's over'. History shows us that such was always the pilgrims' role. 14th Century Pilgrimage to SdC Licensees...

I love my poncho! I have one from Decathlon that has full sleeves with elastic cuffs and a 1/4 zip, no flapping open sides. Easy to pull on and off over my pack and it's about $30 Canadian!

I do not usually plan to stop at any particular albergues. I walk the distance that feels right for the day and then aim for the most convenient one. If that happens to be one I've stayed in before and enjoyed then I'll probably go there again...
